Though now a bit out of date, I found these videos to be very helpful.
Having played SOTS years ago, much of what was covered was a refresher coarse, but I learned a number of very valuable tips and tricks.

Ditto. I learned more from the forums, and even a fair bit by myself, but without these videos I would never have been able to get into the game at all. Much kudos to Rorschach, wherever he's at.

I just got SOTS in a Steam Sale (Paradox Pack).
Don't know the game very well, but the videos were very helpful!

So, I thought I would have all the time in the world for this, but it seems urgent with SotS1 put on GoG! )

Do you think Rorschach would mind if I were to upload his videos on YouTube?
Some people complained you couldn't "move around" in the videos (though it's not strictly true, if you use an external player like VLC, but no many people will think and/or bother with that).
They would also have more visibility, and I could link them (and maybe even embed?) in the wiki in the correct pages (which don't have a video anymore).

I'm also going to PM Rorschach about this, but he hasn't been on the forums since last October...
